Workshop

This department is conducting mechanical workshop practices such as Machining, CNC programming and machining, Welding, Carpentry, Fitting, Pattern Making, Smithy, plumbing & sheet metal etc for the students of various disciplines. All First Year Diploma students, Second year & Third year students from Mechanical perform the practicals in this Department.

In addition to academic work, workshop facilitate students to carryout various work related to micro project, lab assignments for different technical and cultural events and project work etc. Department is also capable for undertaking industrial projects & certificate course in CNC machine.CNC is one of the simplest technologies available in the area of machining but an effective one that can assist greatly in the production process. By attending this mechanical workshop you will practically learn the concept behind the CNC machining & fabricate fully functional 3 axis CNC machine that uses Arduino programming to perform functions like drilling, milling & cutting. You will also learn the concepts behind Arduino interfacing & use the G-codes to operate the tool .This will be ideal workshop for the students if they want get experienced in machining & its working principal
