Computer Engineering

The Department of Computer Engineering was established in 2009 and features well equipped laboratories. It accommodates 60 students, with a direct second-year entry option introduced in 2010 for an additional 12 students. Admissions are conducted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra, and the program lasts for three years. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai.

The department boasts a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members and is equipped with the latest computing facilities. It encourages open-source software development, with students actively participating in related projects. The students have achieved numerous accolades by winning several technical competitions at the state level. The program received accreditation from the NBA committee of AICTE for three years, from 2019 to 2022, with an extension granted for an additional period through successful compliance from 2022 to 2025.
