Established in 2009 Government Polytechnic, Murtizapur has its vision for social transformation and, upliftment of rural masses through quality technical education. Situated on NH-6, Government Polytechnic, Murtizapur is spread over an area of 20.8 acres. As the institute is located in remote rural area, the rural students are the main beneficiaries.
Having got ‘Excellent’ ratings for our departments on many occasions from MSBTE, we believe in the philosophy of giving equal opportunities to students from all walks of life and to train them into a manner that when they venture out on their own, they not only make their careers but serve the society as well.
The institute has well-qualified, experienced & dedicated faculty. We have spacious classrooms with audio-video aids for theory and advanced laboratories for practical training. Separate Boys and Girls hostels with all necessary amenities ensure homely living to our students. Our hostel mess serves nutritionally balanced quality food and maintains hygiene. Government Polytechnic, Murtizapur also provide students with state-of-art computing facilities and internet facilities so they can match their pace with the ever changing world. A well-equipped gymkhana makes sure that the students are physically fit. We encourage our students to take part in various co-curricular activities, extracurricular activities and community works; as such experiences enrich and make them more responsible. We have a strong alumni base and most of our students are pursuing higher studies in engineering colleges of high repute across Maharashtra. A lot of our alumni are occupying coveted positions in various reputed industries in Maharashtra as well as across India.
