This department is conducting workshop practices such as Machining, CNC programming and machining on CNC machines, Welding, Carpentry, Fitting, Pattern Making, Smithy, plumbing & sheet metal for the students of various disciplines. First Year Diploma students of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil engineering branches, Second year & Third year students of Mechanical engineering perform the practicals in this Department.
In addition to academic work, workshop facilitate students to carryout various work related to their micro projects, lab assignments for different technical and cultural events and project work. Department is having precision Lathe, Shaper, CNC Lathe and Milling machine. With growing importance of CNC machines in industries student gets an opportunity to check programme on simulators
To develop workshop as a hi-tech skill center to support the needs of industries and societies as a whole.
